Doug Moore teaches guitar and bass. Doug's reputation as a guitar teacher is unsurpassed, he has performed for over twenty years with such bands as Wilbur and the Dukes, Big Dawg, and Tornado Alley. Currently he leads his own jump/swing band, Blind Tiger Swing Posse
Doug Moore and his bands have received countless awards and accolades over the 25 years he has been gracing New England stages. New England music fans are well acquainted with the work of bands such as Wilbur and The Dukes, Big Dawg, Tornado Alley and others, bands which he helped establish and flourish. Doug brings this resume along with numerous television and recording credits to his role as bandleader of Blind Tiger Swing Posse.
My approach with each student is unique, although I generally try to combine exploring and experiencing the moment while unlocking fundamentals of musicianship which in the long run are invaluable.

I teach students of all levels and styles, from absolute beginners to advanced players. The lesson content can be adjusted according to the specific goals of each student.
